Orion DC-DC converters, non-isolated
- First connect the ‘minus’ cables (black) to the minus of the supply and to the minus of the load.
Please note that a bad minus connection could result in output overvoltage.
- Connect the load output (yellow) to the load.
- Connect the positive input (red) to the supply.
The positive input must be protected by a fuse.
Extra-long input and output cables
Orion IP 67 comes with long cables that are minimum of 1.8 meters. Due to these extra-long cables, you do not have to go for interconnections to increase the length of the cable. It enhances the reliability of the device and you connection as well.
Wide input voltage range
It has a wide input voltage range that is 15 volts to 40 volts that helps in stabilising the output during surges or sags.
